With nothing to slot together or lock into place the FlexiStove® is super easy to use.

The high temperature tolerant* foil laminate is the heart of the FlexiStove® design. It provides functional flexibility, allowing the stove to go from its flat-pack mode, for storage, to a structure capable of supporting a large mug. It has to do this time and again through many heat cycles.

When can I get one?

If you would like to get your name down for a stove to prioritise availability please use the Reserve form.

Why can’t I get one now?

We know it’s frustrating that the stove is not available at the moment… It’s unfortunate but FlexiStove® was not made public in a controlled manner. Excess stock from the conclusion of military trials were made available online through a third party. FlexiStove® was only made aware of this fact when the limited supply ran out and direct inquiries started to be received. Production development work had been underway prior to this situation so please be assured that we’re working hard to get the FlexiStove available as soon as possible.

How can I get one?

Stoves will be available to purchase for £27.99 + £3.50** shipping through this website. Complete the Reserve form to make sure you get one!

Welcome to the Third FlexiStove® Update.

Dear FlexiStove® Community,

The focus is now on materials, training, and shipping.

Since our last update, we've moved into our new production space, conducted maintenance on our machines, and bought a new kettle. It’s getting serious…

Materials: Today marks a significant milestone as we've placed an order for the specialized FlexiStove® high-performance foil. This material is crucial for stove production and is of bespoke construction made to our own design, so it's not off-the-shelf, which is why it has a 6-8 week delivery time.

Training: The FlexiStove® foil is a premium material so we're fortunate to have dummy component sets for training purposes. While the real material is being manufactured, our dedicated team can focus on the variety of tasks necessary for the production of the first batch.

Shipping: While it may not be the most glamorous aspect, shipping is undeniably a critical logistical consideration. Our stoves are destined for various corners of the world, including the distant reaches of the Southern Hemisphere. With reservations spanning North America, mainland Europe, and right here in the UK, we're looking at a diverse array of shipping options covering land and sea to air freight.

To address the scope of shipping needs identified, we're preparing to gather detailed shipping information from each person who has reserved a stove(s). On Monday, April 29th, 2024, you'll receive an email containing a form to specify your preferred shipping address. Make sure to fill it out!

Update 2: (01/03/24)

Welcome to the Second FlexiStove® Update.

Dear FlexiStove® Community,

We hope this message finds you well. First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude for your patience and unwavering support throughout this journey. Please read on for an update regarding the progress of the FlexiStove® outdoor cook system as it nears production.

Now, let's dive into the latest developments... The production kit is ready and likewise, our dedicated team is geared up and eager to commence work on the inaugural batch.

However, we did hit a bump in the road – finding a suitable workspace. The quest for an ideal space, neither too small nor too large, and above all, affordable, took longer than anticipated. We're now thrilled to announce that this challenge has been successfully overcome.

FlexiStove® proudly calls the Southwest of England home, surrounded by the stunning Jurassic coast, delightful cream teas, and picturesque farms with charming barns. Our production space, a robust and character-filled Grade 2 listed barn, crafted in the traditional West Country style, is going to make the most excellent base for FlexiStove®. A special thanks to Farmer Fred, whose unwavering support made this dream workspace possible.

In the coming weeks, our focus will be on preparing the space and setting up the equipment. Another update is just around the corner, so stay tuned. And remember, if you know someone who would love to reserve a FlexiStove®, spread the word!

Update 1 (24.11.23)

Welcome to the first FlexiStove update.

Information will be regularly posted as we approach the official product launch. The exact date is still pending, contingent on various factors but we are working towards availability mid to late February next year which is not very far away now! See the link below to reserve a FlexiStove. Facilitating product availability involves balancing three key factors:

Production: In light of the challenges in securing stable production partners, we've decided to bring production in-house. Leveraging our experience from the military trials programme, we're establishing a mini-production line enabling tight control of all aspects of stove manufacture.

Personnel: Access to skilled individuals is crucial for a successful assembly line, especially for sewing work. We're fortunate to have identified an experienced individual in sewn goods to manage production with training and advice for the assembly team.

Materials: The majority of components are either bespoke to the stove or available only on special order, so there will be lead times before assembly can commence. We’re working to ensure our supply chain can deliver in weeks rather than months.

Update Conclusion: Progress is underway to establish the groundwork for the production line. Payment will be requested to convert reservations to pre-orders with a delivery estimate. Regular updates will be provided and subscribers will receive this information first before its made available on the FlexiStove website.
